Seppelt Great Western Winery operates full service events and conferencing in the Seppelt Function Centre. Venue and corporate meeting facilities can be tailored for large groups, serviced by an exceptional hospitality team. Flexible menu and wine packages include fine dining, gourmet lunch and dinners, grazing shared platter feasts, cocktail receptions and casual BBQ options. Up to fourteen people can be accommodated comfortably on the estate, with larger guest numbers placed in convenient local accommodation in the townships of Great Western, Ararat and Stawell.
Seppelt Function Centre
Situated in the heart of our historic wine estate, Seppelt Function Centre incorporates multiple event spaces for large conferences, black tie functions, corporate lunches, dinners and special occasions. The 1892 Cellar is a legacy of our original winery. Built to house large wine barrels it features a traditional style with a rich jarrah floor and is perfect for larger events. The rustic charm of the reception area and private Chapel are warm and inviting spaces with walls lined in oak barrels. The St Peters and Jaluka rooms offer dedicated meeting areas for smaller groups.
The 140 year old Shafthouse is home to a collection of fascinating historic memorabilia, ideal for private wine tastings and cocktail receptions. Encircled by tall date palms and scenic vine rows, a marquee on the sweeping Seppelt Lawns is perfect for large outdoor events and weddings.
Vine Lodge Historic Homestead and Gardens
The gracious splendour of Vine Lodge homestead is the ideal venue for intimate weddings, special dinners and executive meetings. Vine Lodge ballroom offers a regal setting with picturesque views across the lawns to the famous St Peters vineyard. Vine Lodge Boardroom and Dining room features a grand old oval table that can be used for more intimate dining and smaller meetings. The Vine Lodge verandah and garden offer a tranquil setting of shade trees and manicured lawns.
The Drives Underground Cellars
Seppelt's famous Drives are heritage listed underground cellars and since 1892 the home of Australian sparkling wine production. With a capacity of over 3 million bottles this is the largest underground cellar in the Southern Hemisphere. A totally unique venue for grand dinners and gourmet experiences of 15 or more people.
Candlelit drives tours are followed by an exclusive fine dining buffet dinner in the underground Brandy Nook, where dignitaries house their private wine collections.
