Released in small quantities and only in exceptional years, St Peters is Seppelt’s flagship Shiraz and a testimony to the distinctive style and pedigree of Grampians Shiraz. In vintage 2023, parcels from the Bass and Arrawatta Blocks were selected, delivering a seductive expression of Shiraz with extended cellaring potential.
The Mt Ida vineyard, planted in 1975 on the slopes of an extinct volcano, is a standout site in Heathcote. Dry-grown on ancient Cambrian soils, it yields fruit of remarkable intensity and structure. Produced only in exceptional vintages, the 2023 Mt Ida Shiraz offers concentrated dark fruit, layered spice, and the distinctive savoury tannins that define this terroir.
