A long history of acclaimed quality and elegance lies at the heart of Seppelt wines. Foundation wines harness the varietal expression and regional character of great Victorian wine country. They combine structure and approachability in wines of classic styling and accessibility.

Chalambar Shiraz, Moyston Cabernet Sauvignon and Jaluka Chardonnay form the foundations of the house of Seppelt. Chalambar and Moyston are timeless styles created by legendary winemaker Colin Preece in the 1950s.

Seppelt Jaluka is a bright, modern expression of Chardonnay from the Henty region. Incorporating some parcels drawn from the famous Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard established in 1964, it features lively citrus and stone fruit characters with a creamy texture and nutty French oak influence.

First crafted in 1953, Seppelt Chalambar is a highly sought after Shiraz of excellent pedigree. Taking its name from the Mount Chalambar landmark nearby in the Grampians, this wine highlights the benefits of blending from the Grampians and Heathcote regions. It combines cool climate spice and elegance with dark plummy fruit and fleshy generosity. Fine velvet tannins and restrained oak lend cellar worthy structure and approachability.

Released only in exceptional years, Seppelt Moyston is a magnificent cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon. Named after a small country hamlet, it hails from Seppelt’s Grampians vineyard. The wine shows classic cassis, varietal choc-mint and tobacco tones with firm tannin structure that rewards long term cellaring.
