Seppelt is home to a long tradition of sophisticated sparkling wines. Hans Irvine employed Frenchman Charles Pierlot from Champagne in 1890 to craft some of Australia’s first Methode Traditionelle wines. The specialised styles were destined for greatness. Seppelt’s finest sparkling white wine now bears the name of Pierlot’s wife, Ellena Salinger.

"Salinger is a celebration of luxurious French elegance and Australian terroir."

The classic assemblage of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier comes together in a timeless aperitif style.

Seppelt Salinger Vintage Cuvee hails from the most exceptional grapes of the vintage. Handpicked grapes from the illustrious Drumborg vineyard in Henty form the basis of the wine. It is crisp and dry, with graceful structure and toasty complexity from three years bottle ageing before release. From vintage 2013 this wine has been made in the Traditional Method.

Salinger NV Premium Cuvee is made to a consistent house style each year. With the classic sparkling varietals of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from premium  vineyards, Seppelt Salinger NV is a wine of great finesse and balance with a luscious creamy mouthfeel. Rich yet delicate, it has a fine bead and crisp refreshing finish.
